funding from Portuguese investors Shilling Capital Partners and British serial entrepreneurs Alex Chesterman, founder of Zoopla.co.uk and LOVEFiLM.com, and William Reeve, founder of LOVEFiLM.com and Graze.com.
UniPlaces wants to disrupt the university apartment renting business with a better user experience, focused in the universities and supported by a performance based business model. The young company is already operating in Portugal and Chile, South America. The funding comes handy to support the global site launch this summer and the entry in Brazil later on.
